two college-bound seniors who personify high ethics as demonstrated through
their creative talents in creation of a 30 to 60 second video, as well as their
overall personal integrity and academic history.
“We have developed
the Student of Integrity Award as a way to focus on ethics with young adults
who are on the cusp of their careers, planning their post secondary education
and focusing on future goals,” said Mechele Agbayani Mills, President and CEO
of BBB Serving Central East Texas “Ethics and integrity will shape their
professional and personal experiences throughout their lives, and it is our
hope that this award will encourage interested students to consider and
articulate their commitment to high ethical behavior.”
The first place winner will be awarded a $2,000 textbook
scholarship to an accredited college or university. Second place will be awarded
$1,000. Finalists will be notified by Friday, January 11, 2013.
